Biography

Graduating from the « National Hochschule für Graphische Kunst » in Kaiserslautern ( Germany ) and from the « Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs » in Paris, Antiès begins her graphic design career at « Claude Paz et Visseaux » where she conceives of and creates neon signs for all the West of France.

1970
Departure for Madagascar where she pursues her career in the advertising, musical edition (posters and disc sleaves), and the creation of African textiles intended for all Mascareignes local people. She teaches plastic arts at the International Secondary school of Tananarive, then oversses the training of graphic designers at « SOTEMA », a big textile company.

1977
A new start in Brazil where she becomes a graphic designer attached to the « Maison de France ».
It is also the beginning of its pictorial direction provoked by the shock of the poverty and misery of the Latin America. Her work finds a new expression : through ink, pastel, then oil, Antiès reveals then the profound chasm between a luxuriant nature and a pathetic humanity.
A distant and wounded past and an immense sensitivity, emphasized by the cruel environment, will stimulate her creativity to the extreme.

1980
Her first exhibition in Rio de Janeiro receives great acclaim.

1981
New change for the French Caribbeans, where the advertising of the Cultural Centre, as well as graphic designers training is entrusted to her. This other stay brings to Antiès a new source of inspiration, the opportunity to pursue her craft. and numerous exhibitions.

1988
After 17 years of travel, Antiès settles down on the Côte d'Azur.
Her sharp creativity henceforth moves towards the symbolic and the abstract. Her numerous and regular exhibitions testify to her fascinating artistic path.

Antiès hat an der Hochschule für Grafik und Design Kaiserslautern und der « Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris » diplomiert.
Antiès beginnt sehr früh als Graphikerin bei « Claude Paz et Visseaux – Bretagne » mit Entwürfen und Verwirklichungen von Leuchtreklamen für den ganzen Westen Frankreichs.

1965 bis 1969
In Nizza arbeitet sie als freischaffende Graphikerin in Werbung sowie Kreation in « haute coiffure » zur Zufriedenheit einer vielfältigen und zahlreichen Kundschaft.

1970
Abreise nach Madagaskar. Sie ist Lehrerin für Bildende Kunst am Internationalen Gymnasium von Tananarive. Ihre Kreativität drückt sich in Entwürfen von Schallplattenhüllen und Plakaten aus. Der Schwerpunkt ihrer künstlerischen Tätigkeit sind jedoch Entwürfe von afrikanischen Stoffen im Auftrag der SOTEMA für Madagaskar, Mauritius und die Komoren Inseln im Indischen Ozean. Auch übernimmt sie, für die selbe Firma, die Ausbildung von Graphikern.

1977
beginnt ein vierjähriger Aufenthalt in Brasilien. Sie wird die exclusive Graphikerin von « La Maison de France » in Rio de Janiero.
Das ist auch der Beginn eines neuen Weges ihrer Kreativität. Antiès weisst mit Federzeichnungen, Pastel und Öl auf den tiefen Graben zwischen der über-schäumenden Natur und der erbärmlichen Menschheit hin.
Tief empfundene schmerzhafte Erlebnisse und eine übergrosse Sensibilität regen ihre Kreativität auf das Äusserste an.

1980
Mit ihrer ersten Ausstellung in Rio de Janeiro hat sie einen glänzenden Erfolg.

1981
Neuer Wechsel zu den Antillen ; Pointe à Pitre, wo Antiès die Publizität des Kulturzentrum, sowie die Ausbildung von Graphikern übertragen wird. Dieser Aufenhalt eröffnet ihr neue Schöpfungsquellen und die Möglichkeit ihr Werk fortzusetzen, sowie mehrere Ausstellungen zu veranstalten.

1988
Nach 18 Jahren, Rückkehr an die « Côte d'Azur » ; intensive künstlerische Kreation, die sich vom Symbolischen zu Abstraktion entwickelt. Ihre zahlreichen, regelmässigen Ausstellungen bezeugen ihren interessanten künstlerischen Weg.
